WHO I AM

As a child, I invented worlds in my imagination. On Monday, I was a dancer, on Tuesday a teacher, on Wednesday an architect, on Thursday a poet, and on the weekend a friend. Today, I am a systemic therapist, a mother, and a wife.

How did I find my calling?

From 2011 to 2013, I had the privilege of attending Harvard University in Boston, where I studied social psychology and the issues of economic justice. That time was a turning point in my life. Since then, my life has revolved around understanding the world and us humans better. The world was open to me, I traveled to many places, met inspiring people, and completed numerous further training courses that brought me closer to my calling.

In December 2013, I discovered Vipassana meditation in Bangkok, and since then I have attended various Dhamma centers worldwide, where I repeatedly participated in ten-day silent retreats. Meditation enriches my everyday life to this day, has developed into a great support, and encourages me to lead a balanced life. After years of traveling, I decided to settle down and simultaneously chose to train as a psychological counselor

My previous life experiences and interests came together in this endeavor.

My specialization is based on the perspectives of systemic therapy: the individual is not solely the bearer of problems but is part of something larger (a system) and interacts with their social environment. This results in many resource- and solution-oriented intervention possibilities that enable effective change.

What am I an "expert" in?

For a decade, I have worked with children/adolescents, couples, and families. This has always been a conscious choice because it is where my "heart lies." I have gained various experiences that can be summarized under -relational intelligence-. This focus is enriched by regular supervision with the psychotherapist Marita Wedi and ongoing further training "Sessions" with Esther Perel, a Belgian psychotherapist and author of "Mating in Captivity." She is a specialist in the fields of love, relationships, and partnership. This relationship triangle also forms the foundation of my therapies.

I am happy to assist you with my life experience, knowledge, empathy, and intuition. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I look forward to embarking on the adventure of discovering who you are.
